Well, you can, and it will only cost a one time charge of $20.00 for a specialty PA license plate. The custom plate fee is in addition to your annual registration fee, and the plate is available for passenger car registration only.
To order your PATU plate, send your name, TU membership no. and current PA license plate no., along with a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope, to: George Mellinger, R.D. 2, Box 520, Greensburg, PA 15601. In return, you’ll receive an application form to complete and send with your $20.00 payment to PennDOT.
