"Back the Brookie" License Plate

The PA Council of Trout Unlimited is offering these attractive (non-registration) license plates, the proceeds from which will benefit brook trout restoration work in Pennsylvania. Buy one to mount on your front bumper, and buy a second one to decorate your wall.

Custom-Built Fly Rods

State Council is offering custom-built fly rods in two different styles and sizes. The first, pictured below, is a 9'0", 5-weight, 4-piece model built on a medium-fast action olive green graphite blank with gold wraps over smoked chrome guides. Each rod is inscribed with “PA Council of Trout Unlimited” and comes with a nylon-covered rod tube with the PATU logo embroidered on the case.

The second rod in our custom offering is a 7'0", 2-weight, 4-piece, mid-flex model built on a Greys (Hardy/Greys, Ltd.) GS2 Series blank which has a gloss black finish and black wraps over chrome guides. Each rod is inscribed with "PA Council of TU" and comes with a cloth rod sack, plastic tube and manufacturer's warranty.

Waterproof Fly Box

These double-sided, waterproof fly boxes feature see-through lids and slit micro-foam inserts. They are 5" long by 4" wide by 1 3/4" thick and include a PA Council logo decal to apply to the box.

Custom-Tied Tapered Leaders

High quality custom-tied tapered leaders are offered in 9 foot lengths, in both dry and wet fly configurations. Dry fly leaders feature a combination of Maxima Chameleon hard butt sections with Maxima Ultragreen softer mid-sections and 24" tippets in 4X, 5X, or 6X sizes. Wet fly leaders include two droppers and Maxima clear tippet sections in 4X or 5X sizes.

Kinzua Creek Collectible Patches

Created by famed wildlife artist George LaVanish of Wilderness Editions, these 2010 patches featuring Kinzua Creek rainbow trout are the 4th. in a special collectible series offered by PA Council.

Little Juniata Collectible Patches

The 5th. and final patch in the series created for PA Council in 2011 by George LaVanish of Wilderness Editions features wild brown trout of the highly regarded Little Juniata River, or "The Little J" as it is widely known.
